Having trained in Ceramics at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, my work has been influenced over the years by my surroundings and by other Potters that I have worked with. My work has taken me from the UK to New Zealand and Japan where I have worked in various potteries gaining new skills and influences.
All works are hand built /and or thrown on the wheel, using a diverse range of clay glazes and glaze firings. Raku and stoneware firings produce vibrant copper lustres and rich oxide glazes. The ceramics and painting mirror my love of the diverse themes of nature mixed with ancient mythology and the Sea. If you are interested in commissioning some ceramic work, I can work to your specific requirements.
