Morningside Gallery is situated in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Founded in 2003 as a sister gallery to Stirling Art in Stirling (owned by Josie & Mike Day for some 26 years), Morningside Gallery specialises in contemporary art and works closely with emerging and established artists.

We seek out, work with and mentor painters and sculptors who display talent, skill and natural creativity and we are committed to nurturing their careers.

Using separate areas of the gallery space, we show constantly changing collections of paintings from our stable of artists and each month feature a collection of up to 20 works by one artist or a themed collection by a group of artists.

At Morningside Gallery, we believe in the life enhancing capacity of art and we seek to make art accessible to everyone, from the first time buyer to the collector.

We strive to provide excellent personal service at all levels; we welcome enquiries from both artists and clients and we are delighted to assist and advise with the selection and hanging of artwork.

Eileadh Swan - Director

Eileadh joined Morningside Gallery in 2006, initially working part time in the gallery whilst completing her PhD. In 2012, Eileadh moved into a management position within the gallery, combining her life long interest in art with her love of people. Bringing people and art together is a passion Eileadh shares with her Great Grandfather, Jim Ede, who established the much loved Kettle's Yard in Cambridge. Like him, she has a strong belief that gallery spaces should be welcoming and accessible so that art can be enjoyed by everyone, and become a way of life.
