Tracey Elphick
Tracey Elphick
Tracey Elphick studied Fine Art at Falmouth, and went on to qualify as an art teacher. She now works as a full time artist from her Cirencester studio. Drawing inspiration from a range of subjects, her work explores urban and rural landscapes, collections of vintage ceramics, and the natural world.
Tracey’s playful still life compositions combine garden birds with patterned crockery, fruit and flowers. She uses a range of media to capture a sense of harmony and movement. She combines her loose, dynamic brushwork with backgrounds of layered colour and collage, to imbue her subjects with a lively energy.
