KATE BENTLEY : TWO WORLDS
Kate’s explorative nature and unique imagination has created a truly striking collection of paintings which explore two main subjects – Edinburgh as a city and Kate’s love of gardens – her own, those of friends and the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. The fusion of Kate’s intensely layered and experimental approach and her ability to work from memory have given us a breathtaking body of paintings, all bearing Kate’s distinctive use of texture, pattern and detail. WOOF! The Dog Show
A celebration of dogs in art and in life, a theme that has of course been visited by many an artist in the past – Picasso, Hockney, Warhol, Freud, Munch, O’Keefe, Kahlo… the list could go on! We are delighted to have so many artists taking part – both familiar and new to the gallery. Come and enjoy! Dogs always welcome!
