JACK MORROCCO : TALKING PICTURES
We are delighted to announce our upcoming Jack Morrocco solo exhibition Talking Pictures. Jack’s paintings resonate and speak to people; they have stories to tell of time and of place. The dappled light of Provence, the Italian waiter, the gondola gliding through the dark glassy canals of Venice; we are instantly taken to a shared feeling or a memory, a feeling of being there. This solo exhibition of over forty paintings spans all of Jack’s subject matter, and has many a story to tell. Please contact us if you would like a preview of the images or more information about the Private View.
BRIAN HENDERSON : EYE LINE
Brian Henderson’s paintings are works of wonder, from the selection of objects he chooses for each tableau to the tiny brushes that meticulously render them. Almost always painted at eye – level and from carefully set up and lit constructed models and arrangements, Brian’s paintings juxtapose traditional still life subjects with popular culture. Plastic Mickey Mouse and Tin Tin models share the space with musical instruments, crystal and glass, as Brian explores the properties of light on each surface.
BLYTHE SCOTT : HOMELAND
Blythe Scott has returned from Canada to Scotland! To celebrate, we are hosting a special launch event for a new collection of her paintings, which will be hung in the Sheraton’s One Square Bar and Brasserie for a few days before joining the gallery’s November exhibition. There will be a special Meet the Artist event at the Sheraton Hotel’s One Bar – please contact us for full details and to enquire about a space.
